Hollywood's Highest Paid Couple: Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson

When rumors surfaced last week that newly-single Rachel McAdams was calling her ex, Ryan Gosling, the internet lit up with fans hopeful that the former couple, who met on the set of "The Notebook," would get back together. Gosling's current girlfriend is Eva Mendes, his costar in the "The Place Beyond the Pines," a crime drama that came out on Friday.

"Working with someone is the best way to get to know someone, especially if it's a creative endeavor," Gosling recently told the AP. "When you work creatively with somebody, it's very telling and you sort of fast-track with everyone."

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson would also know — while their offscreen relationship has been filled with drama, their onscreen "Twilight" romance has earned $1.17 billion, according to a January Forbes report that analyzed the top-grossing romantic movies of the last three years. McAdams didn't make the list with Gosling, but she did with her costar in "The Vow," Channing Tatum.

The statistic represents Hollywood's top grossing couples as of January 2013. As of January 2013, the top grossing couple is Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson who acted together in Twilight, which earned a total revenue of 1.17 billion U.S. dollars.
