Zara Has a New Logo and Most People Are Not Impressed

Our loved shop Zara has changed its logo. The retailer revealed the new, curvy-typeface logo on its social media accounts - and it's a bit different to the old one.

We used to see bold, wide letters as Zara logo previously. The new version - designed by the Baron & Baron agency - sees them much closer together, and with a curvier font.
The new Zara logo is Fabien Baron being Fabien Baron, a typography he first used for Harper’s Bazaar in the early 1990s and seen consistently since baron-baron.
And it appears that not everyone is impressed with the update. Social media users were quick to turn the moment into a meme:

Zara changed its logo for the first time back in 2010, but the alterations were small, so customers weren't quite interested back then. Until store signage will be updated - I am sure we will get used to the new version.
